Snitsig Receives Series A Funding

Mountain View, CA - Snitsig Inc announced today that it has closed its Series A Funding with private investors.
Snitsig is developing a site for inventorying belongings and networking with friends to exchange belongings.
Brook Eaton, Founder and CEO, says that "Snitsig newest development fills a big gap in the online market place
for friends and networks of communities looking to keep track of their stuff and loan, sell, or exchange it
within their network." "Sites like eBay and Craigslist are great for anonymous exchanges with strangers,
but where do I go if I want to see what my friends might have and arrange an exchange with them?"
The answer: Snitsig.
Investors Mr. and Mrs. Levin found Snitsig to be a compelling and fun Web 2.0 application with tremendous
potential for networks of people, not to mention its usefulness as an inventory management system.
Mrs. Levin is excited to use the site for "inventorying everything from items in storage to my shoe and handbag
collection" and "keeping track of handbags I loan to my daughters." When browsing your own belongings, she said
"it's like on-line shopping in your own store" and when looking for used items on-line, "finding items from
friends is just better than getting it from a stranger."
The Series A Funding will be used to expand Snitsig's web development team and turn Snitsig's 'proof of concept'
website into an enhanced beta site capable of supporting millions of users. The company plans to launch a
publicly accessible version of its site by this fall. In the meantime, Snitsig has several large communities
lined up to use Snitsig as their main exchange system. Snitsig further welcomes other large groups with this
need, such as churches or co-ops, to inquire about using Snitsig's beta site.
